Therapy takes courage to be honest. We need to come face to face with the inward and outward struggles we all have in life. My goal as a therapist is to facilitate and help navigate the specific and unique obstacles we are each presented with. I want to share the right tools and skills that will help you navigate future dilemmas. This will not always be easy, but with patience and practice therapy provides tools that can be used on a daily basis to conquer whatever, come what may.
You are capable of so much, and together we will uncover your strengths and weakness to become and overcome. Everyone has a powerful story to share, full of pain and joy. As we learn how to lean in to who we are and what our story is, we find the beauty in the growth and transformation. To share where we have been and who we have become becomes liberating.
Mental health is not an isolated part of your life and connects to many other aspects of life like faith, relationships, and physical wellbeing. Discovering these connections are worth searching for. Bettering ourselves takes commitment that is best taken one step at a time.
While not helping others in therapy, I enjoy reading, talking with friends and family, learning new things, trying new foods, cooking with my wife, and keeping up with my one-year-old daughter’s zest for life.
